Booking terms
Last updated 18 October 2026
Draft. We’re having these reviewed before Boundl takes real bookings, so the wording may change. Bookings made now are test bookings: no money is taken and nothing is really booked.
The terms
- Who we are. Boundl is based in Scotland, United Kingdom. You can reach us at support@boundl.app. When you book a trip on Boundl, we are the organiser of your package and responsible for all the travel services in it.
- Who can book. For now, the person making the booking must live in the UK and be 18 or over. They agree to these terms for everyone in the booking.
- Your contract. Your contract is with Boundl. It starts when you’ve paid and we’ve emailed your booking confirmation. A trip that combines flights, hotels or other travel services in one booking is a package under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, and you have all the rights those regulations give you.
- Prices and payment. You pay the full price in pounds sterling when you book, by card or with Klarna. Prices shown in other currencies are a guide only. We won’t increase the price of your trip after you’ve booked.
- Your details and travel documents. Names must match each traveller’s passport exactly; airlines can refuse boarding if they don’t. You’re responsible for valid passports, visas and any health requirements. We’ll tell you the general passport and visa requirements for your destination before you book.
- If you change or cancel your trip. Our cancellation and refund policy explains what you get back and what changes cost. You can pass your trip to another person if you tell us at least 7 days before departure.
- If we change or cancel your trip. We may need to make small changes, such as a flight time or a similar hotel, and we’ll tell you as soon as we can. If we have to make a significant change or cancel, you can accept the change, take a suitable alternative, or cancel for a full refund within 14 days.
- The creator’s plan. Each trip is planned by an independent travel creator. Their day-by-day plan is a recommendation. We’re responsible for the travel services you book through Boundl; anything you arrange yourself during the trip isn’t part of your package.
- If something goes wrong. Tell us straight away at support@boundl.app, and tell the supplier on the spot, so we can put it right. If a service isn’t provided as booked, you may be entitled to a price reduction or compensation. For flights and some other services, international conventions may limit the compensation we can pay.
- Financial protection. Before Boundl takes real bookings, this section will set out how your money is protected, including ATOL protection for trips with flights.
- Our responsibility. We’re not responsible if a problem is caused by you, by someone unconnected with your trip, or by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
- Complaints. If you’re unhappy, email support@boundl.app within 28 days of getting home and we’ll reply within 14 days. Before Boundl takes real bookings, we’ll name an independent dispute resolution scheme here.
- Your information. Our privacy policy explains how we use your details and who we share them with.
- The law. Scots law applies to these terms. You can bring a claim in the courts of Scotland, or in the part of the UK where you live.
