Cancellations and refunds

Last updated 18 October 2026

Draft. We’re having these reviewed before Boundl takes real bookings, so the wording may change. Bookings made now are test bookings: no money is taken and nothing is really booked.

Cancelling your trip

You can cancel your trip at any time before you travel. Email support@boundl.app with your booking reference and we’ll confirm the cancellation in writing.

When you cancel, we ask each airline, hotel and partner in your trip for a refund. We pass on everything they refund to us. Our own margin, the part of each price that’s ours rather than the supplier’s, isn’t refunded. Many flights can’t be refunded once ticketed, and some hotel rates are non-refundable, so you may get back less than you paid. Before you confirm, we’ll tell you exactly how much you’ll get back.

We refund you within 14 days of your cancellation, to the card or Klarna account you paid with.

When you won't pay to cancel

You get back everything you paid, our margin included, if:

  • the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office advises against travel to your destination, or something else unavoidable and extraordinary there (a natural disaster, serious unrest, a disease outbreak) significantly affects your trip;
  • we cancel your trip, or make a significant change to it that you don’t accept;
  • a supplier cancels a key part of your trip and we can’t offer an alternative you’re happy with.

We pay these refunds within 14 days.

Changing your trip

We fix typos in names free of charge. Other changes (dates, travellers, parts of the trip) depend on what each airline and hotel allows; you pay any difference in price, what the supplier charges for the change, and a £25 admin fee.

You can also pass your trip to someone else if you tell us at least 7 days before departure; you pay any extra costs this causes.

This policy is part of our booking terms.
